TUANZ, InternetNZ and Consumer NZ are leading the Coalition for Fair Internet Pricing and are locked in a battle of words with the ICT Minister over the Government's proposal to overrule a draft decision by the Commerce Commission on the price of the copper network.

As most Newsline readers will know, the Institute of IT Professionals and NZQA have been co-leading a formal review of ICT Qualifications at levels 1-6 on the NZ Qualifications Framework, basically replacing over 200 Diploma and Certificate qualifications with a more coherent and industry-aligned set and creating clear educational pathways for our industry.
