Course objectives

The course has the following core objectives:

1. To reveal typical manager words and actions that lower productivity, causing people to function at the lowest common denominator
2. To equip managers in 6 key areas to 'raise the bar' and create a staff-driven, high performance workplace
3. To show managers how to prevent and/or quickly end performance issues
4. To make performance feedback painless, even enjoyable, for both parties

Pre Requisites

Some questions, a brief article and self assessment that participants bring with them to the workshop (and don't need to reveal!). They bring any people issues they want solved at the workshop, once and for all!

About the Trainer

Cherri Holland has worked with thousands of leaders and service teams from hundreds of organisations and business units across most sectors in 9 countries to improve performance and organisational efficiency.

She provides practical insights and skills for managers and leaders within accounting, legal and IT firms to dramatically improve their interpersonal and relationship skills and, hereby, their impact in their role.

Cherri also trains and consults on behalf of a number of institutions, including New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, University of Auckland Business School and Auckland University of Technology.
